Richardson interned at Ranchlands' MP Ranch in New Mexico, where he was able to reconnect to things that he says felt more "real" to him—the land, physical labor, raising animals, quiet, being dirty and tired.

From there, he made the jump to creating artwork full time and has continued to turn out one incredible piece after another.

Straddling the line between abstract expressionism and western pop, his work finds footing in a unique place between conceptualism and pure emotion.
