Dylan grew up in Arlington, TX and spent his early adult life honing in the craft of barbecue. he moved to Colorado in 2020 to take a job as the assistant cook at our guest lodge on the Zapata Ranch. After a season spent cooking at the lodge, Dylan jumped over to a fencing role on the Medano where we keep our bison herd. He spent a year fixing fence over at the Zapata and wanted to pursue a ranching internship and was lucky to join the crew at the Chico where he has been for almost two years. He is now pursuing a Ranch Management apprentice at the Chico Basin Ranch.
