ORDERS + SHIPPING
Which destinations will Ranchlands ship to?
We can ship to most countries, but shipping prices may need to be adjusted. If you aren’t able to ship to your desired location, just send us an email or call and we will help you troubleshoot.
Duty and tax calculations for shipments outside of the United States are the responsibility of the customer and will vary depending on final delivery location and merchandise value. Ranchlands does not claim responsibility for any accrued import duties and taxes, as these fees are collected by your local government.
Can I order from Ranchlands over the phone or in person?
We try to make the online shopping experience as easy as possible, but we are more than happy to take orders via phone or email. You can contact us by emailing mercantile@ranchlands.com or calling (719) 225-2923 for assistance.
Can I change or amend my order once it has been placed?
If you need to change your order, don’t worry, it happens! We have a small window before your product will be added to the shop’s queue. The best and fastest way is to email mercantile@ranchlands.com within 12 hours of placing your order and describe what needs to be changed.
When will my order ship?
All in-stock items will be shipped 2-3 business days from the date of purchase. Orders shipping Ground will take an additional 2-7 business days for delivery, depending on the delivery location. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing a Tracking Number to track your package.
If you have not received a confirmation email within 2-3 weeks of placing your order, please reach out to us at mercantile@ranchlands.com for assistance.
Shipping for Ground Beef orders
Our products are shipped in eco-friendly, 100% recyclable packaging with dry ice to ensure safe temperatures upon arrival at your door.
In order to make sure your meat arrives as fresh as possible, we only ship orders Monday and Tuesday, excluding holidays. If you place an order between Wednesday and Sunday, you can expect it to ship the following week.

International Orders
Ranchlands offers worldwide shipping on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis.
This means that all duties and taxes are paid up-front during checkout to ensure a smooth and easy delivery process for you!
Orders are typically shipped within 2-3 business days. Depending on the destination country, delivery from the time of shipping may take between 7-14 additional business days.
RETURNS
What is your return policy?
We hope you’ll enjoy your product for years or decades to come. If you are unhappy with a product for any reason, we will accept a return within 30 days from the original order date. Products must be returned in a new and unused condition. Non-salable items cannot be returned. Please note that monogrammed, custom-made, sample sale, and vintage items are final sale and cannot be returned.
How do I return my order?
Making a return is easy. You have 30 days from the order date to decide if you will keep your product. If you need to return an item, submit a request via our return center. Please note that Ranchlands cannot accept returns on sample sale items, or customized product. This includes custom design work, personalized and embossed items.
Will I be refunded the full value of my order?
Unless the product is faulty, the shipping and return costs will not be refunded. Sales taxes are also non-refundable. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Where is my refund?
After we receive your return, we will have a team member check the product and then issue the refund. An email will be sent to you when the refund has been issued. Please allow two weeks for us to process returns.
RANCHLANDS STAYS
Can I bring my well-behaved dog?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any pets. Dog boarding facilities are available nearby in Alamosa.
Do you have a minimum number of nights stay?
Yes. Ranch vacations have a three night minimum.
Why can't I book one night for three months from now?
Our rooms are held for ranch vacation guests until 30 days prior to the check-in date. Overnight stay reservations are therefore only available within 30 days of your desired check-in date.
What is included in the pricing for a ranch vacation?
Our ranch vacation packages include lodging, ranch activites (such as horseback riding, guided hikes, naturalist tours, etc.), and three meals per day, beginning with dinner on your arrival day and ending with lunch on your departure day.
What is included in overnight stay?
Overnight stays include lodging and three meals per day, beginning with dinner on your arrival day and ending with lunch on your departure day. Ranch activities such as horseback riding are not included and cannot be added a la carte.
Can I bring my horse?
Ranch vacation guests may bring and board their horses at the ranch for $25/night. We provide an outdoor stall with dirt floor and water. We require proof of Coggins/health certificate, guests supply their own feed, must trailer their horse to the day's riding locations, and must be accompanied by staff member on all rides.
Do you accommodate allergies and food restrictions?
Absolutely! Please make sure to note any allergies or food restrictions when making your reservation.
Will my child be able to ride?
Children must be at least eight years of age to partake in rides on the ranch. We offer pony rides at the corrals for children under the age of eight. All minors (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all activities.
Can I book a day ride through the Great Sand Dunes National Park?
Horseback riding is only available to guests staying with us on a ranch vacation package.
Is there a weight limit for horseback riding?
We cannot accomodate riders heavier than 230 lbs.
OTHER
How do I care for my Ranchlands leather goods?
Each of our leather goods are made from premium quality leather, which came from a living, breathing animal. As a result, it should be maintained with a little bit of love. Simply give your product an occasional cleaning and conditioning. Our favorite is Skidmore's Leather Cream. How can I get my Ranchlands goods repaired?
We guarantee our products, but leather is a natural material that may eventually require maintenance and repair. Our shop is equipped to give your leather goods a second life--or third! Just give us a call or shoot us an email to discuss your needs.More info on our Repair and Care page.
What is Ranchlands?
Ranchlands originated as a ranch-management company. We currently manage several hundred thousand acres across several states, on which we run cattle, bison, and horses. Our leathershop grew out of this core business as a way to diversify and supplement our income during times of drought.
