"If you want to learn an instrument, you need to have a certain amount of audacity to believe that you can actually be good at it. When you pick up the guitar for the first time you need to believe that you can actually do it – and of course you're going to totally suck. It's going to be years and years of practicing that thing but if you don't have that ability to be a little bit audacious right at the beginning, you are just never going to do anything."
