The Ranchlands Podcast #16

Molly Wizenberg

“When we read a memoir or a personal essay where someone has really brought their whole self to the page, we can tell because we don’t want to put it down and we feel completely wrapped up in it. To practice feeling brave about doing this ourselves we have to read other works where people have shown up bravely. And to notice within ourselves that if someone shows up and brings themselves to the page, we don’t read it with a feeling of judgment but rather with a feeling of “What's next?” because they really went there.”
