Activities at Paintrock Canyon Ranch

There are various ways to spend time outdoors at the Paintrock. Some guests spend much of their time in the saddle, while others move between riding, fishing, hiking, and relaxing at camp.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding is central to life at the Paintrock. Rides are led by experienced wranglers and organized in small groups, with horses and pace matched to each rider’s experience. Over the course of a stay, guests explore different areas of the ranch, from canyons and creeks to open country.

Focused Weeks & Themes

While all stays share a foundation of time outdoors and ranch life, some weeks are shaped around a particular focus, such as wellness or creative work.

Wellness Weeks

Wellness-focused weeks at the Paintrock emphasize rest, movement, and time away from daily routines. These stays may include guided yoga, somatic practices, and meditation, alongside unstructured space to slow down and reset.

Please note some wellness weeks include minimal horseback riding. Check event details or contact us if you have questions about what's included.
