Activities at Paintrock Canyon Ranch
There are various ways to spend time outdoors at the Paintrock. Some guests spend much of their time in the saddle, while others move between riding, fishing, hiking, and relaxing at camp.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is central to life at the Paintrock. Rides are led by experienced wranglers and organized in small groups, with horses and pace matched to each rider’s experience. Over the course of a stay, guests explore different areas of the ranch, from canyons and creeks to open country.
Fly Fishing
Paintrock Creek runs directly through the ranch, offering opportunities for fly fishing throughout the season. Guests may fish independently or with guidance, depending on interest and conditions.
